Giulio D’Angeloreceived a diploma in Flute under the guidance of Roberto Fabbriciani.
He graduated ‘cum laude’ in Musicology from University Cà Foscari, Venice and completed a Ph.D. (summa cum laude) at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest.
At present he works as a Professor of History of music at Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Tartini in Triest (Italy) and is the coordinator of Centro di documentazione e studi tartiniani ‘Bruno e Michèle Polli’.
He has created and is the editor of a website totally dedicated to Salvatore Sciarrino, which for its easy accessibility and completeness has been highly appreciated by scholars, senior critics and experts of contemporary music.
He also worked in Hungary as a consultant for the International Opera Festival of Miskolc for two years where he was responsible for international relations. For 20 years he was managing the Italian office of the Sziget Festival, the biggest cultural event for young people in Europe.
