Access to the Congress Venues 

1) School of Philosophy of University of Athens

How to access the venue:
The Main Congress venue is within small distance from all Congress hotels. Google map available here at the bottom of the page.

By metro & bus
The Evangelismos Metro Station (blue line, number 3) is connected with the bus line number 221; this line has a stop called Student Residence. Near that stop is the campus main gate, where a shuttle bus from the Congress will wait to get you to main building.

Metro connections operate daily from 06:30-23:30 every 15 minutes. 

By taxi
Taxis are always available at dedicated stations or in central places in the city center, operating 24/7.

2) Byzantine Museum of Athens

Address: Leof. Vasilissis Sofias 22, Athens, 106 75, Greece

How to access the venue:

By metro
The Evangelismos Metro Station (blue line, number 3) is almost next to the Museum.

Metro connections operate daily from 06:30-23:30 every 15 minutes. 

By taxi

3) Music Library of Greece "Lilian Voudouri"

How to access the venue:

By metro
The Megaro Mousikis Metro Station (blue line, number 3) is below the Megaron Building, where the Music Libray is placed.

Badge Collection

Congress delegates who do not have outstanding payments may collect their name badges through the self check in station, located at the Registration Area, near the Main Entrance of the School of Philosophy. Congress material can be collected in the adjacent Material pick-up station at the Registration Desk.


Book of Abstracts

The IMS2022 Congress Abstract Book is available online on the official website of the Congress (link).

Cash Bar

A Cash Bar will be operating throughout Congress dates in the School of Philosophy building (2nd and 4th floor). Delegates are welcome to purchase food and beverage items, at the respective costs.

Certificate of Attendance 

Certificates of Attendance will be delivered by email to delegates that have attended the scientific program, after completion the evaluation form of the IMS Congress.


Concerts

There is a musical program that will be held throughout the dates. The program can be found here.


CSR & Sustainability
IMS 2022 promotes Social Responsibility taking and supporting actions and initiatives which reflect our identity and sense of responsibility to society and people. Health Protocols | COVID-19

For those travelling from abroad, the updated situation related to the Protocols for Arrivals in and Departures from Greece, can be found here.

For all of you, attending the conference, the measures are not so strict - at the time of the issuance of this informative letter - but we do encourage all participants to:

• wear masks inside the halls
• keep safe distances even in outdoor areas
• use of disinfectants existing in all areas

Insurance and Liability

The Organizers will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained by or for loss or damage to property belonging to Congress participants either during or as a result of the Congress or during all related events. 

Registration Desk

The Registration Desk, as well as the Hospitality Desk, will be operating during Congress dates at the venue according to the following schedule: 

 Shuttle bus

Shuttle bus service will be available from 22 -26 August, 2022 at the School of Philosophy, from main gate to the congress bulding via versa during the congress hours.


Presentation Guidelines

Presenters are requested to be present at the session hall at least fifteen (15) minutes before the scheduled opening time, to meet the chairs and converse on the session flow. Presentations should be delivered to the technicians inside the meeting rooms. 
Kindly note that there is a laptop already placed at the speaker podium; please refrain from bringing your own, as it will not be possible to have it set up beforehand for viewing.

The weather in Athens in August is sunny, with average temperature ranging between 25 C (77 F) and 35 C (95 F).
